She was born March 28, 1941, in Chicago, the daughter of Harold and Ruth Logan Hoffman. She married Frank Ford on June 21, 1959, in Rushville. He preceded her in death on March 8, 2013.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Roger Hoffman.
Surviving are two sons, Mike (and Janey) Ford of Rushville and Jeff (and Billie Jo) Ford of Athens; one daughter, Melinda (and Jim) Etter of Rushville; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
She worked at Ford Grocery, Rushville Junior High School cafeteria, Gibb and Cal’s Car Sales and Dr. Gary Brankin DDS. She ended her working career at the pharmacy in Moreland and Devitt Drug Store.
She was a member of Rushville St. John’s Lutheran Church.
Funeral services were held Monday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
