Ronnie Fewkes

Ronnie E. Fewkes, 68, of Table Grove died at 11:50 p.m. Aug. 28, 2015, at his home.

He was born Nov. 27, 1946, in Table Grove a son of Kelly and Marjorie Mae Abernathy Fewkes.

Surviving are three daughters, Rhonda McClure of Rushville, Becky Fewkes of Table Grove and Robin Fewkes of Galesburg; one brother, Jay Paul Fewkes of Table Grove; two sisters, Judy Goulding of Bushnell and Delores Maxson of Table Grove; four grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two brothers, Charles Fewkes and Joe Kelly Fewkes.

He was a U.S. Army veteran during the Vietnam War.

He was manager at Bader and Company and also worked on road construction. He was an over-the-road trucker, driving for WW Transport of West Burlington, Iowa. He also worked for the Midwest Elevator in Macomb.

He was a member of Table Grove American Legion and the Macomb VFW.

Cremation rites have been accorded. Private graveside services will be held at a later date. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery in Table Grove. Shawgo Memorial Home of Astoria is in charge of arrangements.
