Marjorie M. Fewkes, 77, of Table Grove, died at 1:40 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995, at her home.
She was born Aug. 10, 1917, in Table Grove to Arthur Ray and Danna Kay Killion Abernathy. She married Kelly Fewkes on Aug. 24, 1932, in Peoria. He died Dec. 19, 1992. Four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.
Surviving are four sons, Charles R., Ronald E., Jay P. and Joe K., all of Table Grove; two daughters, Judy A. Goulding of Avon and Delores K. Maxson of Table Grove; two sisters, Mrs. Chris (Betty) Reynolds of Memphis, Tenn., and Mrs. Howard (Ida) Lindsey of Macomb; one brother, LaVerne Dale Abernathy of Table Grove; 10 grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Table Grove Community Church where services will be at 2 p.m. Friday with Rev. Howard Self officiating. Calling hours will be from noon until service time on Friday at the church. Burial will be in Harris Cemetery. Arrangements are by Kost Memorial Home in Vermont.
