ANNETTA G. (PARKER) ATEN FISHER

Annetta G. Aten Fisher, 96, of Macomb, formerly of Ipava, died at 11 a.m. May 6, 2007, at Heartland Healthcare Center in Macomb.

She was born July 30, 1910, in Astoria, a daughter of William B. and Etta M. Gain Parker. She married Merlin Aten in 1928. She later married Anthony Fisher on Feb. 4, 1953. He died March 23, 1953.

She also was preceded in death by one son, Robert Aten; two brothers, Paul and Wilbur Parker; and one grandson, Rodney Dwayne Aten.

Surviving are three sons, Richard (and Janet) Aten of Highland, Rodney (and Rosemary) Aten of Ipava and John (and Alta) Aten of Beardstown; eight grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was an item inventory manager for the U.S. Air Force.

She was a member of St. Mary’s Catholic Church in Lewistown and Sonshine Club in Astoria.

Graveside services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Astoria Cemetery with Monsignor Richard Pricco officiating. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava is in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to McDonough District Hospital Hospice.
