June E. Frye, 76, of Vermont died Sunday, March 26, 2000, at 11 a.m. at the Argyle Lake Nursing Center in Colchester.
She was born June 1, 1923, in Astoria, the daughter of Ross and Estella Clark Danner. She married Myron Frye on Aug. 22, 1942. He died Aug. 21, 1973.
She was also preceded in death by one son, Barry A. Frye.
Surviving are two granddaughters, Sara Frye of Colchester and Correne (and Phillip) Keefauver of Cold Spring, Minn.; and three great-grandchildren, Justice, Mason and Carson Keefauver.
She was a retired postmistress of the Vermont Post Office.
Graveside services will be held Saturday at 11 a.m. at the Vermont Cemetery with Tim Worstell officiating. Kost Memorial Home is in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to Vermont Rescue Squad or the American Cancer Society.
