Larry Fisk

Larry D. Fisk, 52, of Canton died at 9:40 p.m. Tuesday, March 18, 1997, in the Graham Hospital emergency room.

He was born Jan. 16, 1945, in Macomb, the son of Philip D. and Edna May Skiles Fisk. He married Janice Kay Batterton on June 6, 1964, in Table Grove. She died Aug. 25, 1996. He also was preceded in death by his father.

Surviving are five daughters, Cindy Graf of Abingdon, Sherry Snider of Yates City, Theresa Goforth of Canton, Becky Miller of Washington, and Kimberly Fisk, at home; six grandchildren; his mother of Astoria; and one sister, Marge Derry of Astoria.

He worked for Amax Coal Co. in Vermont for 15 years and was a truck driver for Ryder Integrated Logistics in Peoria. He was a member of Calvary Baptist Church in Canton.

Services were held Saturday at Berean Christian Church in Ipava with Rev. Gary Bane officiating. Burial was in Ipava Cemetery. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for Kimberly Fisk established at Union National Bank in Canton.
