Richard Fanning, 60, of Marseilles, died at 8:55 Saturday, March 9, 1996, at Rivershores Living Center in Marseilles.
He was born Jan. 11, 1936 in Virginia, the son of Raymond and Velda (Knippenberg) Fanning. He married Donna Simpson. She preceded him in death in 1981.
Surviving are one son, Raymond Glenn, one daughter, Pamela Sue, three grandsons, all of Las Vegas; two sisters, Dorothy Freeman of San Jose and Lois Rose of Astoria.
Burial will be in Petersburg.
