Ellen I. Foster, 73, of Brimfield died at 10:03 p.m. Wednesday, June 21, 1995, at Saint Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Sept. 19, 1921, in Ipava, a daughter of Thomas and Mary Barrett Coleman. She married Earl Foster on April 16, 1945, in Atlantic City, N.J. He died Aug. 7, 1992. A son, Robert, and one brother also preceded her in death.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Jim (Patricia) Nelson of Farmington and Mrs. Rod (Jo Ann) Russeau of Glen Ellyn; two brothers, Jack Coleman of Havana and Raymond Coleman of Canton; two sisters, Sarah Dress of Jacksonville, Fla., and Adeline Bernard of Springfield; and five grandchildren.
She was a bookkeeper at Brimfield Elevator for several years. She was a member of St. Joseph’s Catholic Church and the American Legion Auxiliary, both in Brimfield.
Funeral services were held Monday at her church with Rev. Thomas Seibert officiating. Burial was in Brimfield Cemetery.

Anderson Funeral Home in Farmington was in charge of arrangements.
