Vera L. Fayhee, 84, of Astoria, died at 3:22 a.m. Tuesday, Jan. 10, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
She was born July 31, 1910, in Ipava, a daughter of William J. and Louisa Zimmerman Weese. She married John D. Chambers on Dec. 14, 1934, in Lewistown. He died Oct. 7, 1971. She later married Leonard R. Fayhee on Jan. 17, 1973, in Ipava. He died Aug. 22, 1976. One brother and two sisters also preceded her in death.
Surviving are several nieces and nephews.
She managed West Grocery Store in Astoria and Havana and owned and operated Bernadotte Cafe in Bernadotte. She was a member of a Christian church.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Friday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Gary Sheets officiating. Visitation will be one hour before services at the memorial home. Burial will be in Woodland Cemetery.
