Howard Foster Of Macomb Dies

Howard A. Foster, 65, of 306 S. Mechanic, Macomb, died at 9:45 a.m. Sunday, July 13, 1980, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb. He had been in poor health for the past 14 years.

Born June 3, 1915, at Memphis, Mo., he was a son of Frank C. and Huldah McKinzie Foster. He married Rosa Lee Shank at Cahoka, Mo. Aug. 16, 1939. She survives.

He farmed in the area all his life and lived in Table Grove, Bardolph, Adair and Galesburg before moving to Macomb in 1977.

Other survivors include four sons, Kenneth D. of Epworth, Iowa, Leroy of Macomb and Larry and Donald, both of Bushnell; three sisters, Mrs. Wayne (Jennie) Farris of Bushnell, Mrs. Charles (Mildred) Riley of Pekin and Mrs. Ethel Williams of Raritan; 10 grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; one great-grandchild; and three step-great-grandchildren.

One brother preceded him in death.

Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Tuesday at Clugston Funeral Home in Macomb with Virgil Kelly officiating. Burial was in Harris Cemetery near Table Grove.
