Mrs. Della M. Furnace, 80, a lifetime Astoria resident, died at 2:15 a.m. Friday, May 4, 1973, at her home.
She was born on June 30, 1892, in Astoria, a daughter of Andrew J. and Barbara Ewing Clark. She married Clarence E. Furnace on Aug. 26, 1915, in Lewistown. He died on June 24, 1964.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Hildred Thompson of Macomb and Mrs. Dorothy Webb of Kewanee; seven grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; one sister, Mrs. Stella Danner of Astoria; and two brothers, Willard and Herschel of Macomb.
One son and one daughter preceded her in death.
She was a member of United Methodist Church.
Funeral services were held at 1:30 p.m. Sunday afternoon at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Elder officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
