Mrs. Marville G. France, 85, who had lived in Astoria most of her life, died early Wednesday morning, May 5, in Mason District Hospital in Havana.
She was born Sept. 10, 1885, in Astoria, the daughter of Leander and Lucy Wonderlich Grove. She was married to Clarence A. France on Nov. 19, 1905. He died on Feb. 24, 1966.
Mrs. France was a member of the United Methodist Church of Astoria.
Survivors include one sister, Mrs. Edith Stambaugh of Browning and one brother, Harry Grove, of Astoria. One brother preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held at 2 p.m. Friday afternoon in Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Elder officiating. Burial was in the Astoria Cemetery.
