She was born Feb. 14, 1927, in Lewistown, a daughter of Halmar “Bill” and Alma Kohncke Klinefelter. She married David W. “Bill” Edsall on March 17, 1946, in Beardstown. He preceded her in death on Nov. 13, 2019.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Mary (and Fred) Stocks.
Surviving are six children, Anita Edsall and David L. (and Bev Martindale) Edsall, both of Lewistown, Susie (and Dean) Bidney of Ipava, Kenneth Edsall of Clermont, Fla., Carol (and Curt) Cook of Gilson and Sandra (Greg Mason) Edsall of Canton; two brothers, Howard (and Irene) Klinefelter of Sweetwater, Tenn., and John (and Valerie) Klinefelter of Fair Oaks, Calif.; and one sister, Alma “Tyke” Finch of Wilmington, N.C.; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren.
She was a dedicated farm wife, and a stay-at-home mother.
A graveside service was held at White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton on May 1. Oaks-Hines Funeral Home in Canton was in charge of arrangements.
