She was born April 30, 1928, in Rushville, a daughter of William Chester and Alma Marie Ambrosius King. She married James A. “Jim” Ewing on June 15, 1946, in Rushville. He died on May 16, 2007.
She also was preceded in death by one brother, Max Scott King; and one sister, Shirley King.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (and Patty) Ewing of Springfield and Greg (and Debbie) Ewing of Colchester; four grandchildren; three step grandchildren; four great-grandchildren; and one step great-grandchild.
She worked at Moreland and Devitt Drug Store for many years.
She was a member of Rushville First United Methodist Church.
Services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Mr. David Haney officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery.
