She was born Oct. 15, 1927, east of Edington in Rock Island County, the daughter of Henry and Estelle Gould Vroman. She married Howard Eyler on Sept. 14, 1954, in Edington. He died March 18, 2010.
Surviving are two sons, Steve (and Christie) Eyler and David (and Brenda) Eyler, both of Rushville; two brothers, Lyle (and Esther) Vroman of Rushville and Floyd (and Zita) Vroman of Moline; and four grandchildren.
She graduated from Reynolds High School in 1945.
She worked for Modern Woodmen in Rock Island, Dr. Walter McClelland DVM in Aledo, Rushville Junior High School cafeteria and Schuyler County Circuit Clerkâs office in Rushville.
She was a member of Rushville First Presbyterian Church.
Services were held Sunday at her church with Rev. Steve Akins officiating. Burial was in Rushville City Cemetery. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
