Irene Easley, 98, of Macomb, formerly of Vermont, died at 8 a.m. Wednesday, March 22, 2000, at McDonough District Hospital.
She was born Sept. 2, 1901, in Leesburg, a daughter of Moses and Lydia Bubb Danner. She married Earl Easley on Dec. 24, 1927. He died July 5, 1981.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Barbara Jean Easley, and her twin sister.
Surviving are one son, Herbert of Vermont; five grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Vermont Christian Church.
Services were held Saturday at Kost Memorial Home with Tim Gilliland officiating. Burial was in Vermont Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to her church or Wesley Village Health Care Center in Macomb.
