Former Astorian Dies In Detroit; Burial There

Word was received here of the sudden death of Edward Allen Emig, a former Astoria resident.

He was born near Astoria on Dec. 10, 1896, son of Henry and Rebecca Emig. He was married in 1920 to Constance Mickelojac in Detroit, who survives. A son and daughter preceded him in death.

Surviving are three sisters, Mrs. Ella McMullen and Mrs. Lula Little of Astoria, and Mrs. Mable Wherley of Table Grove. One brother and sister deceased.

Funeral services and burial was in Detroit, where he had lived the past 37 years.
