Word has reached here of the death of Charles Engle, a former Astoria resident, who died at his home in Rogers, Arkansas on Aug. 3rd. Death was due to cancer of the stomach. He was aged 71 years.
He is survived by his wife and five children, also three sisters, Mrs. A. J. Stremmel, Mrs. Minnie Hurst and Mrs. Annie Farwell and one brother, Fred Engle.
