Mrs. Samuel Ebbert of Ipava, who entered the Methodist hospital at Peoria about ten days ago for a major operation, died Thursday morning at the institution, being too weak for an operation to be performed.
Mrs. Ebbert was aged 63 years, 5 months and 22 days. She was a sister to Mrs. William Swearingen and Clarence Severns of this city.
Funeral services were held at Ipava, Sunday afternoon at 2:30 o’clock, at the late residence. Burial in the Ipava cemetery.
Mr. and Mrs. William Swearingen and Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Severns and daughter Eula of Astoria, and Glen Swearingen of Beardstown, attended the funeral.
