SUMMUM — George M. Ebbert, a respected citizen of our village, died about 1 o’clock Tuesday afternoon, aged 74 years, 1 month and 20 days. Deceased was born in Weldenburg, Germany, March 8th, 1822; came to Maryland in 1836, where he was married to Savilla Stonesypher in 1853. He moved to Fulton county in 1855. Six children, who are all alive and were present at the funeral, and a wife besides a host of friends are left to mourn the dead. For many years Uncle Geo was a sufferer from a paralytic stroke. The last seven months of his life he could not walk. He endured affliction patiently and died in peace.
