Roger M. DeWitt, 57, of Blandinsville died at 6:55 p.m. May 29, 2022, at the Elms Nursing Home in Macomb.
He was born April 15, 1965, in Browning, a son of Gerald and Jane Crum DeWitt. He married Shelley Reed on March 24, 1984, in Macomb. She survives.
Also surviving are one son, Tyler (and Kobi) DeWitt of Blandinsville; one brother, Albert (and Michelle) DeWitt; and five grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by one son, Michael DeWitt; his parents; and one sister, Diane Lashbrook.
He was a graduate of Rushville High School. He has lived in Blandinsville since 1984 where he worked at the lumber yard for many years. He also worked at Vaughn and Bushnell in Bushnell and Foam Fabrications in Fort Madison.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A Memorial service will be held at 10 a.m. Wednesday at Clugston-Tibbitts Funeral Home in Macomb with Reverend Beth Nelson officiating.
