Damon Duckwiler

Damon DuckwilerDamon G. Duckwiler, 60, of Ipava died at 11:06 a.m. Aug. 16, 2017, at his home.

He was born April 12, 1957, in Canton, a son of Daniel and Gloria Hamilton Duckwiler. He married Vicky Wathen Windsor.

Surviving are four children, Joshua (and Melissa Horner) Duckwiler of Canton, Chad Duckwiler of Sesser, Carrie (and Michael) Steele of Good Hope and Austin Duckwiler-Horne of Georgetown; two sisters, Sandra Yocum of Bader, and Carol (and Neal) Lippold of Winter Garden, Fla.; two brothers, Gale (and Susan) Duckwiler of Summum and Dennis (and Lisa) Duckwiler of Winter Garden, Fla.; nine grandchildren; and special friend, Terry Sliger Stoneking of Ipava.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two brothers, Bill Duckwiler and twin, Raymond Duckwiler.

He worked for several years as a mechanic at Duck’s Tire in Summum.

Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria. Burial was in Summum Cemetery.
