Everette Drawve

Everette L. Drawve, 85, of Canton, formerly of Rushville, died at 1:38 p.m. April 29, 2017, at OSF Richard L. Owens Hospice Home in Peoria.

He was born July 26, 1931, in Rushville, a son of Lawrence and Ada Logsdon Drawve. He married Cora Eileen Sylvester on March 13, 1965, in Alton. She preceded him in death on Feb. 27, 2017.

He also was preceded in death by one sister, Doris Searle; and one brother, Wayne Drawve.

Surviving are one stepdaughter, Monica (and Doug) Tjarks of Cary, N.C.; two stepgrandchildren; three nephews; and six nieces.

He was a U.S. Army veteran.

He worked at DMI in Goodfield for several years.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Thursday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Jeremy Norton officiating. Burial will follow in Rushville City Cemetery. Visitation will be held from 10 a.m. until the time of service on Thursday.
