Penny Detrick, 58, of Marquette Heights died at 4:25 a.m. Feb. 28, 2015, at her home.
She was born Aug. 26, 1956, in Lincoln, a daughter of Donald and Lois Enright Johnston. She married Steven Detrick on Dec. 26, 1999, in Easton. He preceded her in death on June 9, 2014.
Surviving are one son, Toby (and Misty) Tungate of Springfield; one daughter, Shannon Gill of Marquette Heights; one stepson, Thomas Schlie of Galesburg; four sisters, Pam McFarland, Debbie Allen, Tonya Houghton and Ashley Johnston, all of Lincoln; three brothers, Jeff (and Beth) Johnston of Pekin and Scott Johnston and Donald Johnston Jr., both of Lincoln; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
She was a CNA for 40 years in area nursing homes.
Services will be held at 3 p.m. Wednesday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Reverend Al Sample officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to the service. Burial will be at Apple Cemetery in Lewistown.
