Ed Derry

Ed DerryEd Derry, 58, of Lewistown died at 12:20 a.m. April 29, 2010, at Graham Hospital.

He was born Jan. 4, 1952, in Macomb, a son of Rolan E. “Bud” and Alta Martindale Derry. He married Rochelle M. “Shelly” Goodman on Nov. 27, 1971, in Lewistown. She died Feb. 3, 2007.

He also was preceded in death by his parents; and one stepsister, Billie Tippey.

Surviving are one daughter, Becky Chambers of Lewistown; one brother, John Derry of Lewistown; two sisters, Debbie (and John) Lowery of Canton and Jo Ellen Hardy of Lewistown; one stepbrother, Don (and Debbie) Ward of Crocker, Mo.; three stepsisters, Jane Williams of Cuba, Sue (and Ralph) Negley of Lewistown and Melody Peters of Partyville, Wis.; and one granddaughter.

He was a union plasterer and a member of Plasterers and Cement Masons Local 18. He also had worked at Goodman Sawmill in Lewistown. He was a social member of Lewistown VFW Post 5001.

Graveside services were held Monday at Oak Hill Cemetery in Lewistown with Rev. Randy Munson officiating. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown was in charge of arrangements.

Memorials may be made to an education fund for his granddaughter, Chloe Chambers, c/o Farmers State Bank of Fulton County.
