He was born Feb. 13, 1925, in Schuyler County, the son of Bransford and Sydney Weber Danner. He married Dorla Walters in 1947 in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Debbie (and Chuck) Eddington, Dawn Danner and Diane Danner, all of Springfield; two sons, Dennis (and Kris) of Sherman and David of Springfield; one brother, Leon of Astoria; four grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren.
He was a graduate of Astoria High School. He retired from Fiat-Allis Manufacturing after 38 years and was a self-employed home repairman.
He was a member of Church of the Brethren, Springfield Model Railroad Club and Fiat-Allis Retirees.
Private family services will be held at Boardman-Smith Funeral Chapel in Springfield. Burial will be in Oak Ridge Cemetery in Springfield.
