Iona F. Danner, 95, of Astoria died at 4:07 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 1, 2005, at Renaissance Care Center in Canton.
She was born Oct. 16, 1909, in Astoria Township, the daughter of Mary Donna Hetrick. She married Hart F. Danner on June 16, 1928, in Peoria. He died Oct. 6, 1991.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Charlotte Ann Danner.
Surviving are two daughters, Evelyn Danner and Helen Wise, both of Astoria; one son, Victor (and Dorothy) of Springfield; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Astoria United Methodist Church.
Services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Marian Stone officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
