Frances J. Derry, 92, of Vermont died at 1 a.m. Sunday, Dec. 30, 2001, at Life Care Nursing Center in Tucson, Ariz.
She was born Sept. 8, 1909, in Fulton County, a daughter of Luke and Victoria Bard Kinne. She married Roscoe R. Derry on Dec. 1, 1927. He died on March 21, 1988.
Three sons, three daughters, two brothers, three sisters and one great-granddaughter also preceded her in death.
Surviving are three daughters, Marian Carithers of Vermont, Evelyn Lacey of Junction City, Kan., and Joyce Wright of Tucson; one son, Eldon of Industry; 29 grandchildren; numerous great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; two brothers, Ted Kinne of Vermont and Bille Kinne of Rockford; and one sister, Bertha Gough of Baltimore, Md.
She worked at Ken-Ray Foundry in Vermont. She was a member of Vermont United Methodist Church.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at Kost Memorial Home, where visitation will be from 6-8 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in Phillips Cemetery in Schuyler County.
Memorials may be made to any hospice.
