Ruby M. Dober, 65, of Pekin died Thursday, Oct. 11, 2001, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria.
She was born Nov. 27, 1935, in Beardstown, a daughter of George and Georgia Yeager Davis. She married Norman D. Dober on Dec. 25, 1956, in Beardstown. He died April 19, 1998, in Pekin.
She also was preceded in death by one brother and one stepbrother.
Surviving are two daughters, Dora and Barb Dober, both of Pekin; one grandson; one brother, Donald Davis of Astoria; and two sisters, Virginia Thomas of Astoria and Helen Lucas of rural Rushville.
She was a homemaker.
Graveside services were held Tuesday at Lakeview Cemetery in Pekin with Rev. Terry Lucas officiating. Preston-Hanley Funeral Home in Pekin was in charge of arrangements.
Memorials may be made to the Boy's and Girl's Club of Pekin.
