Mildred B. Danielson, 90, of Mountain Home, Ark., died at 9:48 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 11, 1997, at Baxter County Regional Hospital, Mountain Home.
She was born Aug. 12, 1907, in Astoria, a daughter of Thaddeus Lincoln and Dollie Mayme Vance Curless. She married Gaylord Sherman Danielson on Sept. 11, 1927, in South Bend, Ind. He died Sept. 21, 1988. Also preceding her in death were three brothers and one sister.
Surviving are two nieces, Pamela Ogburn of Peoria and Diane Cohee of Streeter, S.D.; and three nephews, Christopher Curless of Lompoc, Calif., David L. Curless of Streeter, S.D., and Johnnie Curless.
She was a member of Blandinsville Chapter #108 Order of the Eastern Star, former member and past president of the Colchester Women’s Club, and lifetime member of the McDonough County Hospital Auxiliary. She owned and operated antique shops in Macomb, Colchester and Hamilton for over 30 years.
Services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. Gary Sheets officiating. Burial was in Mount Zion Cemetery near Astoria.
