CECIL G. “BUD” DOBSON

Cecil Dobson

Cecil G. “Bud” Dobson, 70, formerly of Havana and Easton, died at 4:36 a.m. Wednesday, Jan. 3, 1996, at St. John’s Hospital in Springfield.

He was born May 16, 1925, in Easton, a son of Cecil and Blanche Barndollar Dobson.

Surviving are two brothers, Howard Dobson of Pleasant Plains and Julius Dobson of Havana; and two sisters, Geneva Ford of Astoria and Dorothy Pratt of Havana. He was a Korean War Army veteran. He was a gas station attendant and farmhand.

Funeral services were held Friday at Hurley Funeral Home in Havana with Rev. Paul Mick officiating. Burial was in Laurel Hill Cemetery in Havana.
