John H. Dutton, 83, of Route 1, Browning, died at 11 a.m. Wednesday, July 5, 1995, at Memorial Medical Center in Springfield.
He was born April 27, 1912, in Bluff City to William and Gertrude Curless Dutton. He married Esther M. Baum on Jan. 13, 1936 in Astoria. She survives.
Also surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Jim (Dorothy) Weaver and Mrs. John (Norma) Williams, both of Havana, and Mrs. Steven (Pam) Burget of Astoria; and seven grandchildren. He was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters.
He was a member of the Central Laborers Union in Jacksonville.
Funeral services were held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Collis Trone officiating. Burial was in Sheldons Grove Cemetery.
