Franklin R. Derry, 64, of Vermont, died at 9:52 a.m. Tuesday, May 9, 1995, at Culbertson Memorial Hospital in Rushville.
He was born January 18, 1931, in Oakland Twp., Schuyler County, the son of Roscoe R. and Frances Kinne Derry.
He is survived by his mother of Vermont; three sons, Michael S. Derry of Kendillville, Ind., Robert A. Derry of Marion, Ind., and Brian R. Derry of Denver, Colo.; three daughters, Catherine J. Timmons of Sweetser, Ind., Kay Morgan of Farmersville, and Jill Beavers of Denver, Colo.; 12 grandchildren; one brother, Maurice E. Derry of Industry; and three sisters, Marian Carithers of Vermont, Mrs. Richard (Evelyn) Lacy of Junction City, Kans., and Mrs. Dough (Joyce) Wright of Tucson, Ariz.
He was preceded in death by his father, two brothers, three sisters and one infant daughter.
He was a member of the Odd Fellows Lodge, member of the Sinkers Club of Summum, and member of Sportsman Club of Ipava.
Funeral services were held Saturday at the Kost Memorial Home in Vermont with burial in the Phillips Cemetery. Collis Trone officiated.
