Faye S. Douglas, 85, of Astoria, died at 12:58 a.m. Saturday, May 21, 1994, at Mason District Hospital in Havana.
She was born Jan. 3, 1909, in Browning, a daughter of Michael and Ida Elizabeth Lane Schuman. She married Samuel T. Douglas on May 17, 1941, in Farmington. He survives.
Also surviving are one son, Mike of Rockford; and two grandchildren, Michael “Tom” Douglas of LaGrange Park and Mrs. David (Tracy) Palmer of Rockford.
Four brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.
Funeral services were held Monday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Rev. James Shirley officiating. Burial was in Astoria Cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Bader Christian Church in Bader.
