Mrs. Ada G. Davis, 87, of Adair, died at 6:15 p.m. Friday, Feb. 8, 1980 at the LaHarpe Extended Care Facility.
Mrs. Davis was born Nov. 3, 1892, in New Salem Township, daughter of Michael W. and Lucinda McNelly Grim. She married Charles G. Davis on Jan. 27, 1915. He died July 29, 1962.
She resided most of her life in New Salem Twp. And Adair. She was a member of New Salem Christian Church in Adair.
Surviving are one brother, Glen M. of Macomb; and two sisters, Mrs. Bertha L. Sayers of Macomb and Mrs. Lee (Hazel Fern) Heaton of Adair.
She was preceded in death by an infant daughter; one infant brother, Everett; and one sister, Mable L. McCartney.
Funeral services were held at 10:30 a.m. Monday at Clugston Funeral Home in Macomb with Rev. Dan Johnson officiating. Burial was in Pennington Point Cemetery.
