Claude Danner, 79, a lifelong resident of the Ipava community, died Friday evening at his home.
Funeral services were held Monday at 1:30 p.m. at Summum Christian Church. Burial was in Summum cemetery.
Mr. Danner was born Feb. 28, 1880 at Summum, a son of Henry and Mary Hetzel Danner. He was married Jan. 6, 1903, to Luella Brinton. She died July 4, 1955.
Surviving are two daughters, Mrs. Olive Mayall of Ipava and Mrs. Norine Hayes of St. Joseph, Mo.; four sons, Carl, Everette, Merlin and Duane, all of Ipava. Eleven grandchildren, 16 great-grandchildren, and one great, great-grandchild also survive. One brother and two sisters died previously.
Shawgo Memorial Home had charge of the services.
