James Crenshaw

James CrenshawJames F. Crenshaw, 68, of Rushville, formerly of Bader, died at 11:35 a.m. Jan. 30, 2024, at his home.

He was born July 8, 1955, in Bader, a son of Denver and Verona Hendricks Crenshaw. He was married to the late Barbara Koepp in 1978 in Bader.

Besides his parents and former wife, he was preceded in death by one grandson, Kaleb; and two brothers, Raymond and Bill.

Surviving are three sons, Chuck Crenshaw of Texas, Jeremy Crenshaw of Rushville and Jimmy (and Beverly) Crenshaw of Astoria; and one daughter, Kelly (and Ray) Lisenbee of Rushville; five grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.

He worked for much of his life as a farmer; many of those years were spent working for Wayne Bollinger. He was a volunteer fireman with the Browning Fire Department for many years.

In accordance with his wishes, cremation rites have been accorded. A graveside service will take place at Bader Cemetery at a future date. The Triplett and Wood Funeral Home of Rushville is in charge of arrangements.
