She was born Sept. 24, 1923, in Pleasant Township near Ipava, the daughter of Charlie and Mabel Cass Wickert. She married Leroy E. Clemens on Dec. 23, 1943. He preceded her in death on Dec. 24, 2000.
She also was preceded in death by three brothers, Donal, Ronal and Devere Wickert.
Surviving are three daughters, Joyce Stambaugh, Christy (and Keith) Lehman and Jean (and Herb Junior) Crossman; one son, Alan (and Georgiana) Clemens; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker and worked alongside her husband on the family farm. She also worked for Astoria Christian Church as a janitor, retiring in August of 2016. She was a member of Astoria Christian Church.
Services will be held at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria on Wednesday at 3 p.m. Visitation will be held two hours prior to the service with Pastor Gary Sheets officiating. Burial will be in the Woodland Cemetery in Astoria.
