Donald Clements

Donald J. Clements, 89, of Browning died March 17, 2023, at his residence.

He was born Nov. 29, 1933, in Frederick, a son of Herman and Ethel Mae Belville Clements. He married Helen Canada on Oct. 10, 1953. She preceded him in death on May 15, 2022.

He also was preceded in death by one daughter, Brenda Clements; four brothers, William “Bill” Clements, Cecil Clements, Eldon “Bud” Clements and Russell Clements; and two sisters, Wava Heffren and Macel Stemp.

Surviving are three sons, Vern (and Debra) Clements of Arenzville, Anthony (and Cindy) Clements of Astoria and Bruce (and Tabitha) Clements of Rushville; six grandchildren; and 10 great- grandchildren.

He served in the United States Army, before starting his career as a welder. He was a member of Browning Church of Christ.

A funeral service will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday at Sager Funeral Home in Beardstown. Visitation will be held from 5-7 p.m. Wednesday at the funeral home. Burial will be held at Browning Cemetery.

Memorials may be made to a charitable organization of the donor’s choosing.
