Russell ClementsRussell Rodney Clements, 77, of Toulon, formerly of Browning and Rushville, died Aug. 28, 2013, at Toulon Healthcare Center.

He was born June 21, 1936, in Frederick, a son of Herman and Ethel Belville Clements.

Surviving are one son, Monte (and Andrea) Clements; two daughters, Dee Ann (and Bruce) Yaple of Coupeville, Wash., and Terri Boonstra of Oak Harbor, Wash.; one sister, Wava Heffron of Rushville; two brothers, Eldon "Bud" (and Iris) Clements of Decatur and Donald (and Helen) Clements of Browning; eight grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one son, Scott Clements; two brothers, Cecil and William Clements; and one sister, Macel Stemp.

He was a journeyman electrician before retiring.

He was a life member of Guthrie Pierce Post #1238 Veterans of Foreign Wars.

Graveside services were held Friday at Browning Cemetery with Rev. Mike Hall officiating. Military Honors were conducted by Guthrie Pierce Post #1239 Veterans of Foreign Wars. Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville was in charge of arrangements.
