She was born June 10, 1943, in Rushville, a daughter of Judge and Anna Martin Estes. She married Wayne Curless on June 10, 1961, in Bluff City. He preceded her in death on Feb. 11, 2019.
She also was preceded in death by one sister, Judy.
Surviving are two daughters, Tonya (and Darryl) Holmes of Ipava and Wanette (and Tom) Dwyer of Clinton; three sisters, Joyce Wilcoxen and Mindy McKenzie, both of Lewistown and Melody Spain of Missouri; four grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
She was a homemaker.
She taught Sunday school for several years and was always by her husband Wayne’s side through the many years of his ministry, helping in numerous ways.
Cremation rites have been accorded. A memorial service was held Saturday at Shawgo Memorial Home in Astoria with Pastor Rex Beard officiating.
