She was born Dec. 28, 1950, in Louisiana, Mo., a daughter of Richard F. and Wanda Barnes Luckett.
Surviving are one daughter, Theresa Holsman of Beardstown; three brothers, Michael Luckett of Valley City, Ricky Luckett of Hersman and Roger (and Dodie) Luckett of Naples; two sisters, Joyce (and Mike) Guthrie of Arkansas and Tammy Welch of Jacksonville; one grandchild; and one great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by one sister, Clara Jackson; and three brothers, Richard, Rocky and Rollie Luckett; and her longtime companion, Tom Dodds.
She worked at Schmidt Hospital in Beardstown from 1976-82. She was then a caretaker for the elderly in their homes.
Private burial will be in the Rushville City Cemetery. Wood Funeral Home in Rushville is in charge with arrangements.
