Bernard Carlin

Bernard L. Carlin, 73, of Lewistown died at 12:30 a.m. Nov. 6, 2016, at his home.

He was born Sept. 3, 1943, in Canton, the son of Albert A. and Mary Louise Henderson Carlin. He married Ruth Shaw. He later married Carol Weber.

Surviving are three children, Laura (and Allen) Tippey of Lewistown, Pamela (and Rod) Beaird of Ipava and Christopher (and Audrey) Carlin of Bryant; two sisters, Joyce (and Robert) Behymer of Lewistown and Linda (and Roger) Graham of Ipava; 11 grandchildren; and 13 great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by one great-grandchild.

He was a police officer for the City of Lewistown and later was a truck driver for M&L Concrete and several other companies for many years. He was a former member of the Canton Moose Lodge.

Cremation will be accorded and a memorial service will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at the Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Carl Denham officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home.
