M. Louise CarlinM. Louise “Weezzie” Carlin, 87, of Lewistown died at 5:01 a.m. May 24, 2008, at Graham Hospital in Canton.

She was born Oct. 9, 1920, in Fulton County, the daughter of Ernest and Esther Lindquist Henderson. She married Albert A. “Baldy” Carlin on March 5, 1941, in Palmyra, Mo. He died Dec. 13, 1985.

She also was preceded in death by two daughters; one brother; and one sister.

Surviving are one son, Bernard Carlin of Lewistown; two daughters, Linda (and Roger) Graham of Ipava and Joyce (and Robert) Behymer of Lewistown; one brother, Vern (and Judy) Henderson of Canton; two sisters, Lois Sale and Dorothy Shaffer, both of Canton; 9 grandchildren; two step-grandchildren; and several great-and great-great-grandchildren.

Louise was a homemaker, and also worked at Hilda’s Pantry in Lewistown.

She was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Lewistown, where she taught Sunday school for many years; Loyal Order of Moose in Canton; and Old Ingersoll School Mother’s Club.

Services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Rev. Larry Post officiating. Visitation will be held one hour prior to services at the memorial home. Burial will be in White Chapel Memory Gardens in Canton.
