Rachel A. Creasy, 79, of Macomb died at 4:39 a.m. Aug. 14, 2014, at McDonough District Hospital in Macomb.
She was born Feb. 1, 1935, in Colchester, a daughter of Merle and Mabel Bennett Humes. She married Harlan E. Creasy on Oct. 23, 1952, in Macomb. He preceded her in death on Dec. 12, 1995.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Janice Mason; one brother, Zanel Humes; three sisters, Betty Sartore, Frances Mesick and Donna Coghill; one grandson, Adam Goodell; and one granddaughter, Jennifer Gossage.
Surviving are two sons, Mark Creasy of Hawthorn, Nev., and Charles Creasy of Macomb; four daughters, Cheryl Fosdyck of Macomb, Kathy Goodell of Vermont, Raeanna Peterman of Havana and Anita Brown of Bushnell; one brother, Gerald (and Joan) Humes of Colchester; 14 grandchildren; and 12 great-grandchildren.
She was involved in many activities.
Services were held Tuesday at Jones Mortuary in Colchester with Rev. Lee Unger officiating.
