Diana Jo (Aten) Confer, 54, of Rock Springs, Wyo., formerly of Ipava, died at 1 a.m. Nov. 3, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah.Diana Jo (Aten) Confer, 54, of Rock Springs, Wyo., formerly of Ipava, died at 1 a.m. Nov. 3, 2013, in Salt Lake City, Utah.
She was born Nov. 20, 1958, in Havana, a daughter of Rodney and Rosemary Krider Aten. She married Tom Confer in 1991. He survives.
Also surviving are her parents of Ipava; one daughter, Marcy Sparks of Rock Springs, Wyo.; one sister, Debra (and Lance) Horwedel of Table Grove; and two grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one brother, Dwayne; and grandparents, Bill and Nelda Krider, Annetta Fisher and Merlin Aten.
She was a secretary for Cummings in Rock Springs.
She was a graduate of VIT High School in 1976.
Services have been held in Rock Springs. Shawgo Memorial Home in Ipava was in charge of arrangements.
