He was born June 9, 1949, in Beardstown, a son of Fred Robert and Theresa Lovekamp Curry. He married Linda Wright on July 3, 1977, in Rushville. She survives.
Also surviving are two sons, Doug Curry of Beardstown and Richard (and Chelsea) Curry of Rushville; one daughter, Bobbi Jo Curry and companion Ryan Landon of Beardstown; one brother, Roger Curry of Rushville; and five grandchildren.
He graduated from Rushville High School in 1967 and received his associates degree in farm management from Spoon River College in Canton.
He was a lifelong farmer and was an independent, self-employed truck driver before retiring due to ill health.
He was a member of St. John's Lutheran Church of Rushville.
Services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville with Rev. Carl Wiggins officiating. Burial will follow in Messerer Cemetery near Frederick.
