Edras ClarkEdras D. Clark, 97, of Lewistown died at 3:27 a.m. May 27, 2011, at Red Oak Estates in Canton.

He was born Dec. 25, 1913, in rural Lewistown, a son of Henry and Sarah Amie Stufflebeam Clark. He married Helen E. Arnett on March 8, 1946, in Winchester. She preceded him in death on June 12, 1995.

He also was preceded in death by two brothers and two sisters.

Surviving are four children, Jackie (and Jerry) Malin of Oregon City, Ore., Marcia (and Gene) Baldock of rural Cuba, Linda (and Chet) Phillips of Canton and Roger (and Sally) Clark of Lewistown; one stepson, Lannie (and Mary) Vaughn of Minnesota; one sister, June Black of Beardstown; 13 grandchildren; 22 great-grandchildren; and three great-great-grandchildren.

He retired from Caterpillar in 1976 and farmed in the Lewistown area.

He served as a medic in the U.S. Army during World War II.

He was a life member of Lewistown VFW Post 5001.

Services will be held at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown with Reverend Kathy Barrett officiating. Burial will be in Apple Cemetery in rural Lewistown. Military rites will be conducted by Lewistown VFW Post 5001 and Lewistown American Legion Bishop Post 1.
