Marcia S. Baldock, 82, of rural Cuba died at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 29, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with her family by her side.Marcia S. Baldock, 82, of rural Cuba died at 6:30 p.m. Feb. 29, 2024, at OSF St. Francis Medical Center in Peoria with her family by her side.
She was born Oct. 29, 1941, in Canton, a daughter of Edras and Helen Arnett Clark. She married Gene D. Baldock on May 3, 1959, in Lewistown. He preceded her in death on Sept. 15, 2015.
She also was preceded in death by two infant granddaughters.
Surviving are four daughters, Cindy (and Brad Andre) Hezlep of Galesburg, Daun (and Jerry) Lillie and Teresa (and Scott Mulligan) Fitch, both of Lewistown, and Tammy (and Chris) Southwood of Astoria; two brothers, Lannie (and Mary) Vaughn of Minnesota and Roger (and Sally) Clark of Lewistown; two sisters, Linda (and Chet) Phillips of Canton and Jackie Malin of Oregon; 12 grandchildren; and 23 great-grandchildren.
She was a healthcare nurse for many years.
Cremation will be accorded. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday, April 6, at Apple Cemetery with Pastor Kathy Barrett officiating. Inurnment will follow the service. Following the services at Apple Cemetery there will be a Celebration of Life at Marcia’s house. Henry-Lange Memorial Home in Lewistown is in charge of arrangements.
