Helen Snyder Criser, 99, of Bloomfield, Conn., died June 25, 2007.
She was born Feb. 25, 1908, in Schuyler County, a daughter of Charlotte and John Briney. She married Merle O. Snyder. He died in 1974. She later married Cecil Criser. He died in 1984.
She also was preceded in death by one daughter, Mary Jane Robbin; four brothers, Harold, Herschel, Wilburn and Ralph; two sisters, Evelyn Thurston and Esther Chu; and one grandson, Bruce Rutherford.
Surviving are one son, Dayle O. Snyder of Cambridge, Ohio; two daughters, Bette J. Marr of Carlinville and Carole A. Christopher of Norfolk, Va.; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
She was a member of Eastern Star and First Congregational Church in Bloomfield.
Services were held Saturday at Worthington Funeral Home in Rushville.
